I have never quite understood what’s with Lucy’s style of working. When she has a great story, she walks into the office and secretly discusses it with all the bosses one after another. When she has brief, she still goes around discreetly explaining it to the bosses. No doubt she is a hard worker, but would it be like a debatable question if she discusses her stories like normal people in the newsroom do??
Big boss is back. I will have to move around cautiously as she may catch me anytime and ask for the number of page ones I have filed in the past one month. Well I wish I could tell her that I filed plenty of page one’s but they were always carried on the inside pages- god knows why?
Second-in-command tried to be angry on me for not filing a story today. Well, I felt guilty but I had tried enough. For now, I plan to give at least five ideas in tomorrow’s meeting to make the Big Boss, Second-in-Command and the Third-in-Command happy. Hope my plenty ideas make them feel that I am a hard worker!!!
